In the rhythm of the needles, there is music for the soul – Unknown author
The weather is slowly getting colder and you’d like to knit a scarf or a cap to keep you warm, but you don’t know how. You sigh because you feel that it will take you ages to learn how to knit and are convinced that you won’t be able to finish your pet project before the end of winter. Don’t despair! Come to one of my knitting workshops or arrange some private lessons with me and learn how to make something handmade and unique. With more than 30 years experience in knitting I’m sure that I can help you. In addition, you’ll be:
- part of the star and style diva club which includes Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Kristin Davis, all of whom knit in their spare time
- alleviating stress, improving your hand-eye coordination, helping with memory loss, lowering your blood pressure, as well as enjoying all the many other benefits of knitting
- able to do something during those “idle times” – on the way to work, while waiting to pick up your child, during your lunch break or in front in of the television (and it will distract you from snacking!)
- nurturing a tradition that spans ages and cultures and goes back to Ancient Egypt.
But be warned: knitting can be highly addictive and once you start, it’s hard to put those needles down!
