Enrich your life

We are pilgrims on the earth and strangers; we have come from afar and we are going far – Vincent van Gogh

There are so many special places on this earth of ours.  Some are more special to someone than others.  The most special place in the world to me is the Camino de Santiago.  As you know from my previous posts, I completed the Camino Frances last year.  This year I completed the Camino Portugues.  Just like children, I really shouldn’t favour one Camino over another, but some sort of mysterious magic happened on this year’s Camino to make it, so far, the most special of all.

Was it because of the breathtakingly beautiful Atlantic Ocean?

Maybe it was the magic of the forests we passed on the way?

Or perhaps it was the lure and charm of Santiago de Compostela?

Whatever it was, even this happened – a video of me singing Schubert’s Ave Maria in front of our hostel went viral…

Yes, it really was an incredibly magical Camino.  I hope you all one day live the magic and do the Camino…
